About Connections Events

Connections is the global networking and event organiser exclusively for senior executives and experts in Luxury, Wellness and Meetings. We bring hand-picked leaders from the industry together to do business and to discuss the trends and challenges facing the marketplace. Decision makers meet through memorable experiences and educational debates that lead to meaningful and long-lasting business relationships.

Each event welcomes up to 80 delegates (30-40 high calibre buyers, 30-40 selected luxury suppliers and sponsors). All participants who join this event will be treated equally, with an all-inclusive package to minimise additional costs and arrangements. Buyers are invited following consultation with suppliers participating at each event. All luxury events are supported by The Telegraph Media Group and Amadeus.

The Experiences and Thought Leadership

The event is designed to create a relaxed and informal atmosphere – ties are not required. Each delegate has a personal agenda with a series of 40 minute 1-2-1 periods with key clients.  Whilst we provide a meeting table in a conference room we encourage delegates to use the local facilities or take part in some shared experiences that will help to create a personal bond between each other that lays a stronger foundation for a future business relationship. Additional opportunities to mix with delegates are provided through seated table plans, group experiences and debates that tackle hot topics in the market AND which use the knowledge of the audience.

The Connections Luxury series launched in 2014 at the Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire, since the launch Connections has been hosted in global destinations such as Asia, Europe and America with the support of notable brands which include Rocco Forte, Kempinski, Conrad and Taj to name a few. Luxury buyers are selected through extensive research and word of mouth recommendation together with existing partners and suppliers. They represent key and emerging luxury travel markets (including the US, China, India etc) and reflect the region in which the event is located (for example, the recent event in Europe welcomed 50% of buyers from Europe and 50% from outside the region). The luxury suppliers are only the best companies in luxury travel around the globe who are invited to participate; these include airlines, hotels, private jet and yacht charters, cruise lines and destinations.
